Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone.
Our Commitment
V Auto Care is committed to ensuring that our website, vautotooele.com, is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe every visitor — regardless of ability — should be able to find information about our services, contact us, and access our locations without barriers.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to available standards and guidelines.
Standards We Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Our conformance approach is guided by the four WCAG principles:
- Perceivable — Information and interface components are presentable to all users in ways they can perceive
- Operable — All interface components and navigation are operable by keyboard and assistive technologies
- Understandable — Information and operation of the interface is clear and predictable
- Robust — Content is robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of assistive technologies
Accessibility Features
This website has been built with the following accessibility features:
Semantic HTML
We use proper HTML5 landmark elements — <header>, <nav>, <main>, <section>, <footer> — to give structure that screen readers can navigate.
ARIA Labels
Interactive elements, navigation regions, forms, and icons include aria-label and aria-hidden attributes to provide meaningful context to assistive technology users.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements — including navigation links, buttons, forms, and modals — are accessible and operable using a keyboard alone, following a logical tab order.
Image Alt Text
All meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images are marked with empty alt text or aria-hidden="true" so screen readers skip them.
Form Accessibility
All form inputs are associated with visible <label> elements. Required fields are indicated both visually and to screen readers. Error states use aria-live regions where applicable.
Color & Contrast
Primary body text (#F2EDE4 on #0A0B0D) meets WCAG AA contrast requirements. We avoid conveying information by color alone and supplement color with text labels.
Responsive Design
The site is fully responsive and functions correctly at 320px viewport width, supports text scaling up to 200%, and does not restrict user zoom.
Focus Indicators
Visible focus indicators are present for all keyboard-navigable elements, allowing keyboard and switch-access users to track their position on the page.
Live Regions
Dynamic content updates — such as the real-time open/closed status indicator — use aria-live="polite" so screen readers announce changes without interrupting the user.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:
- Google Maps embeds — The embedded maps provided by Google may not be fully keyboard operable. We provide text-based address information and a "Get Directions" link as an accessible alternative.
- Small decorative text — Some small uppercase label text using our brand red (#D42020) on dark backgrounds is used as a decorative design element. We ensure the same information is available in high-contrast adjacent text.
- Third-party widgets — Review platforms and external badge elements may have their own accessibility limitations outside our control.
We are committed to addressing these limitations in future updates.

This website has been reviewed for compatibility with the following common assistive technologies:
- NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) with Chrome on Windows
- VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
